Terms & Cancellation Policy
Ride Granada reserves the right to cancel your booking if the final payment has not been received by the relevant due date.
You must wear an approved cycle helmet while riding in Spain, and you must obey the road rules at all times.
You must follow the instructions of Ride Granada staff all the time.
You agree that you are physically fit and there is no health or other reason why you should not participate fully in our cycling training camps, cycling holidays or training programs.
You agree you should you bring your own bicycle and helmet as far as possible. Ride Granada will check your equipment to ensure that it complies with Spanish regulations.
Ride Granada shall not be held responsible for any event outside of its control which may include but is not limited to collisions, inclement weather, rough conditions, illness, injury, loss or damage to your property or the property of others, airline delays or cancellations, or faults or failures by providers of accommodation, tourism activities or transport.
Ride Granada reserves the right to cancel any trip, for any reason, at any time prior to 30 days before departure date. In this case, refund of any payments received constitutes full settlement.
Due to circumstances beyond our control, Ride Granada may have to make changes to the stated routes. Ride Granada will endeavour to keep changes to a minimum, and to maintain its standard of quality.
You are required to take reasonable care of your own personal effects.
You will not make a claim against Ride Granada or its guides in respect of you taking part on one of our cycling holidays, training camps or training programs, including any injury or loss suffered by you or others or any damage or loss to any of your property or to property of others regardless of how the injury, loss or damage occurs.
The minimum age for our cycling training camps participation is 15 years.
Children under the age of 18 years will only be permitted if accompanied by a supervising adult.
Additional Terms and Conditions may apply in these situations and will be agreed at the time of booking.
You are required to have suitable travel insurance. This must include cover for cycling related activities, the costs of medical treatment, and repatriation in the event of a serious accident or illness.
By agreeing to these terms you are agreeing that the Courts of Spain will deal with any disputes, which may arise between you and us, and that the law of Spain shall be the applicable law.
Booking Terms & Conditions
Ride Granada offers premier cycling holidays in Granada, Málaga and Almeria, Spain, attracting gravel and road cycling enthusiasts from around the world. These Terms and Conditions govern all bookings made with Ride Granada. By securing a reservation, you accept and agree to abide by the following legally binding conditions.
1. Booking Confirmation and Deposit
To confirm your cycling holiday, a non-refundable deposit of €300 per person or 35% of the total cost must be paid at the time of booking. Bookings made within 4 weeks of the tour start date require full payment at the time of booking. Upon receipt of your payment, we will issue an invoice that confirms your road cycling tour in Spain. No contract shall exist until this confirmation has been provided in writing by the Company.
2. Final Balance Payment
The outstanding balance must be paid no later than 3 weeks before your cycling holiday in Andalusia begins. If this deadline is missed, we reserve the right to cancel the booking and retain all monies paid.
3. Amendments by the Client
You may request to amend your booking in writing. Any changes are subject to availability and approval by the Company. We may apply an administrative fee. Changes requested within 14 days of the scheduled departure will be treated as a cancellation, and cancellation charges will apply. Amendments to holiday dates are only possible within the same cycling season and are subject to availability on our cycling tours.
4. Cancellations by the Client
Cancellations must be made in writing by the person who booked the tour. The following cancellation charges apply:
We do not offer refunds for early departure, unused services, or no-shows. In some cases and at our sole discretion, we may offer to transfer your payment to another cycling tour within the same season. We strongly recommend purchasing travel insurance that includes trip cancellation coverage.
5. Insurance Requirements
You must hold comprehensive travel insurance before participating in any cycling holiday in Spain. Your policy must cover: road or gravel cycling and sports-related activities, emergency medical care and repatriation, personal liability, trip cancellation and delays. Proof of insurance may be requested at any time. The Company accepts no responsibility for clients who fail to obtain adequate coverage.
6. Cancellations or Changes by the Company
While rare, we reserve the right to cancel or alter your Andalusia cycling tour up to 30 days before the start date for any reason. If this occurs, we will offer an alternative tour date or itinerary of similar value, or provide a full refund of all monies paid to us. We are not liable for additional expenses such as flights, accommodation, transfers, or lost enjoyment.
7. Force Majeure / Acts of God
We accept no liability for failure to fulfill a booking due to Force Majeure events, including but not limited to: natural disasters, severe weather, pandemics, political unrest, or other uncontrollable circumstances. In these cases, we do not offer refunds, but may offer to reschedule your cycling tour to a future date.
8. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Ride Granada shall not be liable for: personal injury, illness, or death, loss or damage to personal property, delays, travel disruption, or additional costs, any activity undertaken by the client during their stay. Participation in our tours is entirely at your own risk. It is your responsibility to ensure you are physically capable and competent to participate.
9. Holiday Prices and Surcharges
Once confirmed, your tour is guaranteed and will not be subject to increases. No refund will be issued for services you choose not to use.
10. Travel Documentation
It is your responsibility to ensure your passport is valid for travel to Spain and to check any applicable visa requirements. The Company is not responsible for costs arising from denied entry or missing documentation.
